In October 2017 Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law started the project “Know-how Lab for Social Entrepreneurship” held under the “Human Resources Development” Operational Programme 2014-2020 through joint financing by the European Social Fund in the European Union. Under the procedure “Transnational and Danube partnerships for Employment and Growth” BCNL in partnership with De Passerel Foundation (The Netherlands), Regional Institute for cooperative education and studies “ Irecoop Veneto” (Italy), Association “PRISM - International Promotion Sicily-World” (Ital) will develop this 14-months project – till the end of 2018. The ultimate goal of the project is to provide greater and long-term employment for vulnerable groups by exchanging innovative models and practices applied by social enterprises developing activities with these target groups in three different countries – Bulgaria, The Netherlands and Italy.
It will be launched a Know-How Lab for Social Entrepeneurshup which will contribute to building a community for finding, testing and implementing good and effective practices with a social focus from the two other EU countries. Foreign experience will be presented through various models of employment of vulnerable groups in social enterprises and good practices for improving the organization and working conditions in them.Tthey will be formed three pilot groups which will be involved in study visits in this countries – The Netherlands and Italy. Thanks to this exchange of experience the participants in the Lab will be acquainted with: a special methodology for constant measurement of the readiness for inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market; with various training programs for systematic and sustained increase of the qualifications and competences of employees in the social enterprises; with the experience of innovative models for inclusion of migrants and refugees in the social entrepreneurship with the purpose of more successful integration. With mentorship by the team experts, the participants will start activities on prototyping and implementing of innovations in the daily work of their social enterprises.
Information about the development stages of the project will be shared with you here on the site and through different other communication channels. We hope the project will identify working mechanisms for overcoming some of the challenges before that the named target groups are facing and so will contribute for sustainable development of measures and politics for their support, social-economical integration and permanent community inclusion.
