Possibilities for partnership: in searching better solutions for children all over the world

Is it possible to have the partnership between the authority and the civil society organizations (CSOs) working with children, is it possible by the partnership to achieve more results for children and families, which are the challenges and the “hidden”  barriers in advocating for more and better services for children … all those where issues that were part of a training provided to national offices of SOS Children’s Villages from 14 countries (Ukraine, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Namibia, Botswana, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Kosovo, Serbia, Macedonia, Armenia).  


The three days training was organized and facilitated by the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law and took place in the first of its kind facility for social innovation – A Hub. In the presentations were included questions for how to lead advocacy for changing the system of care, different forms for public-private partnership with their positive and negative sides and one of the most important topics for all organizations in the world – threats for closing environment for CSOs and now-a-day tendencies. Our team believes that the shared knowledge, lessons and experience, nevertheless the specifics of the context, are among the most powerful accelerators for bringing change as civil organizations.
