From the middle of August the Central Register for NGOs in Public Benefit with the Ministry of Justice had moved on the following address: 5 Aksakov Str., Sofia. The NGOs in pubic benefit have to submit their documents for registration as well as will receive the certificate for registration on the mentioned above new address.

The new amendments in the Law for the Community Based Organizations were published in State Gazette 42 from 5 June 2009. They came into force on 9 June 2009.

The 22 June 2009 is the final date on which candidates from Ukraine can send their application documents in order to participate in the Black Sea Fellowship Program. The Program is organized by the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law, with the financial support of the East-East: Partnership Beyond Borders Program of the Open Society Institute.

In the beginning of June 2009 the application procedure for participating in the Black Sea Fellowship Program for the sixth Black Sea country – Russia has been opened.

On 1 June 2009 the application procedure for participating in the Black Sea Fellowship Program for the fifth Black Sea country –Armenia has been opened.

The 31 May 2009 is the final date on which candidates from Romania can send their application documents in order to participate in the Black Sea Fellowship Program, organized by the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law, with the financial support of the East-East: Partnership Beyond Borders Program of the Open Society Institute.

On 15 May 2009 the application procedure for participating in the Black Sea Fellowship Program for the third Black Sea country – Ukraine has been opened.

In the beginning of May 2009 the application procedure for participating in the Black Sea Fellowship Program for the first two Black Sea countries – Romania and Azerbaijan has been opened.

New amendments in the Law for Income Tax Levying and the Law for Taxes over the Income of Physical Persons were published in the State Gazette from 28 April 2009 as proposed during the campaign for keeping the tax benefits for donations, organized by BCNL with the support of a group of NGOs at the end of 2008.
