International NGO Summer School 2-5 September 2014, ARKUTINO, Bulgaria


BCNL has the pleasure of inviting you to an

INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL FOR NGOs.

The Summer School will take place on 2-5 September 2014 in Arkutino, Bulgaria at the Black Sea Coast (50 km south of Burgas). You can check the conference facilities at http://www.arkutino.com/.

The summer school is intended for people working in NGOs and young people interested to acquire practical information and skills regarding the operation of NGOs.

The summer school will cover topics related to important areas of NGO operation and development. You may find more information on the topics in the

agenda of the summer school.

PRESENTERS
The sessions will be lead by experienced presenters such as Georgi Genchev, Luben Panov, Mahammad Guluzade, Nadya Shabani, Plamen Todorov. 

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION AND DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION
The applicants will be selected based on their English language skills and motivation.

DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION
All interested candidates need to fill in an application form and send it, together with a CV, both documents in English.

DEADLINE: 10 June 2014 to pavleta@bcnl.org. Selected applicants will be notified by the end of June 2014.  

PARTICIPATION FEE
All participants have to pay 400 EUR which will cover:
·    Preparation of invitation letters for visa;
·    4/5 days of accomodation at the Arkutino training center;
·    Breakfast, lunch and dinner during the summer school days (Tuesday to Friday);
·    The training and a certificate for attendance;
·    All coffee breaks during the event.

The fee does not include:
·    Flight or on-the-ground transportation;
·    The embassy fee for receiving Bulgarian visa;
·    Expenses made outside of the organized package including long-distance calls, etc.

HOW TO GET TO ARKUTINO
The nearest airports to the International Center Arkutino are in Burgas (50 kilometers) and Varna (170 kilometers from Arkutino which takes around 2 and a half hours with bus to Arkutino). There is a good flight connection between Istanbul and Vienna and Varna. In addition, there are regular flights from Moscow to both airports.

The organizers will arrange transfers from the Burgas or Varna airports or advise the selected participants on the easiest and most economical way to reach the Arkutino center.
