Master Class of the NGO Summer School 2024

Join the first edition of the NGO Summer School Master Class. Applications are open until 16 May 2024

What is the NGO Summer School Master Class?

Our mission as the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law is to help people freely associate and develop their civic causes. From our 23 years of experience, we know that it costs a lot to realize civic initiative in Bulgaria. It takes dedicated people, often with unique interdisciplinary knowledge, who can do VAT by heart, who have read and understand at least 30 laws, who are good advocacy strategists and excellent public speakers… And many more superpowers that NGO leaders need to have to overcome apathy and ignite enthusiasm in people.

To help develop and build on these superpowers among CSO leaders, we are launching an entirely new training program from 2024 – the NGO Summer School Master Class.

The five-day training course will cover specialized sessions on: strategic planning, campaigning for civic causes, financial planning, human resource management, public speaking and compelling rhetoric, as well as other topics important for good governance and assessing the impact of NGO work.

The master level of the Summer School for NGOs aims to build on the knowledge and experience of those of you who hold a leadership position in the NGO sector. Attending the training course will help you improve your leadership and transform your team into an organisation that is truly:

Sustainable: learning, strategically planned, with a motivated team;

Independent: financially stable, with clear policies and professional standards.

Influential: with a voice that is heard and a vision that is seen.

The first edition of the NGO Summer School Master Class will take place from 10 to 14 June 2024 at the Balchik Palace.
