Legal personality, and how acquired
The law recognizes an association or a foundation as a legal person after its registration in the Register for not-for-profit legal entities by the Registry Agency to the Minister of Justice.
In comparison to the Association the law states requirements for the form of the act of incorporation for establishing a Foundation – this act is required to be with notary verified signatures.
After being registered NGOs can act and hold property and take responsibilities in their own name as a separate legal entity.
