Mission possible: enhanced access to EU funding for financially viable NGOs (2015-2016)

"Mission possible: enhanced access to EU funding for financially viable NGOs" is 10-month long project of Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds in partnership with Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law.

The project aims to analyze the problems preventing the full participation of  nongovernmental organizations in Bulgaria in the access of EU funds for the implementation of EU policies for better life. The project aims to provide "equal
start "of NGOs in two directions:

  1. to raise awareness of NGOs in the working mechanisms of the Structural and Cohesion Funds and to increase the capacity of the NGOs;
  2. to work with key governmental institutions responsible for the funds provided under the EU operational programs by convincing them of the potential of NGOs to become their key partner and beneficiary.

The project aims to contribute to improving the financial stability of the Bulgarian civil organizations and to develop a comprehensive standard for good management of NGOs.

Project period: 2015-2016
Funded by: NGO Programme in Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2009-2014 (www.ngogrants.bg)
