“Support to sustainable development through increased role and participation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) at democratic changes in Armenia” is a project of Centre for Community Dialogues and Initiatives (CCDI), Armenia where BCNL is a partner.

The Overall objective of the project is to support the establishment of assured basis and mechanisms for CSO enrolment in policy dialogues and formulation in Armenia.

The   Specific Objectives of the proposed Action are:

  • Improved understanding of specific policy processes, institutions and actors based on EU-Armenia ENP Action Plan policy areas
  • Establishment and enhancement of mechanisms for CSO engagement in policy dialogue and formulation
  • Consolidation of role of CSOs with a particular focus on CSOs in the marzes of Armenia in policy dialogues and formulation through capacity building and increased participation
  • Increased practical interaction between civil society and authorities at regional and national levels based on the practices of an EU member country

The Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law is responsible for:

  • the development of mechanisms for CSO engagement in policy dialogue and formulation, sharing good practices for CSO involvement in decision-making on various levels.
  • to conduct a training of trainers in Yerevan, Armenia on mechanisms for CSO engagement in policy dialogue and formulation in Bulgaria and on existing EU standards;
  • to facilitate a study tour to Bulgaria for representatives of the Parliament of Armenia and CSOs.
