THERE ARE FIVE DAYS LEFT TO THE DEADLINE FOR APPLYING FOR THE BLACK SEA FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM FOR GEORGIA

The 29 November 2009 is the final date on which candidates from Georgia can send their application documents in order to participate in the Black Sea Fellowship Program, organized by the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law, with the financial support of the East-East: Partnership Beyond Borders Program of the Open Society Institute.

 

The fellow will spend up to 4 weeks at BCNL office in Sofia, Bulgaria. The exact duration of the fellow stay will be conform to his/ her ability to spend some time out of Georgia.    During his/her stay the fellow will participate in discussions on topics concerning the NGO legal framework (international principles of freedom of association, registration, taxation, public benefit status, etc.), review materials related to the NGO legal framework in Bulgaria and other countries from Central and Eastern Europe, important EU court cases on issues concerning NGOs. Meetings with leading Bulgarian NGOs according to the personal interest of the fellow/s will be organized in order to share experience.

 

The fellow/s will also prepare a research of the NGO legal framework in his/ her home country. It will be published on a special section on the BCNL website.
