For eleventh year in a row, the Bulgarian center for non-profit law (BCNL) assembles representatives of 20 Bulgarian non-governmental organizations near the seaside.

This Sunday, basketball will talk about our civil rights with the voice of journalist and writer Ivo Ivanov. On June 18, we will gather in the Basketball Hall of the National Stadium "Vasil Levski", Sofia, to play sports, have fun and talk about what is important to us... and to raise the rest of the money for the prize fund of the Civic Alarm Clock competition 2023 and for the organization of the Festival for Art and Rights CIVIC ALARM CLOCK 2023.

Time for civic dreams! We invite you on July 1 (Saturday) 2023, in the Toplocentrala (Sofia) and the park space around it, to put the rights on the stage during the third edition of the Festival for Art and Rights Civic Alarm Clock.

Four years after its adoption, the Bulgarian Social Enterprises Act, which should have supported the most vulnerable enterprises – those working with social purpose, turns out to be futile. Social entrepreneurs who employ people from vulnerable groups or work for the public benefit in general see no point in registering under the Act.

One crisis after another… - this is what we used to say in 2022, being worried if we would have enough time to adapt. Feeling worried was not the solution… – we also needed to respond as efficiently as possible, to transform the challenges into advantages, and to recharge ourselves with a new impetus for more rights and freedoms.

Many people in Bulgaria have tremendous motivation and energy to make a positive impact. Proof of this are the participants in this year's edition of the social entrepreneurship program LET'S GO 2023. Those people don't wait, they act. They take initiative and empower themselves to address the most pressing social issues. LET'S GO 2023 provided support to 16 organizations across the country, guiding them on their transformative journey from idea to a successful launch of a social enterprise. This year, we partnered these organizations with expert trainers and mentors from the business world, who shared essential knowledge and practical advice, igniting the participant's confidence and courage. With their invaluable assistance, ideas were transformed into well-crafted business plans and robust financial projections, facilitating the realization of impactful social causes.

Who will determine the winners? The jury of Let's GO is a group of professionals who have made significant achievements in their fields. People who are not only good at what they do, but also willing to support startups knowing that the success of one is the success of all. They have a flair for good business and an eye for evaluating the potential of ideas. Here is the jury!
